Our intent

Through teaching French, an oracy heavy curriculum area, we create a level playing field and ensure that every child is included, respected and valued. We will impact on improving essential skills for effective communication and collaboration whilst building self-confidence and widening cultural horizons.   By making the learning of French an enjoyable and challenging experience, by building on what the children already know and by celebrating each learning outcome, we can show that small steps lead to big changes and ensure that every child is given the opportunities of extending their skills beyond the classroom and therefore prepare for life beyond Holycroft.
